Chansi has been very active in the community since joining the NFL. He makes monthly donations to his church to help the people in the Fairview community in Fort Valley, GA. He also supports the ASPCA and only adopts pets.
He makes regular visits to see sick children in various hospitals in New Jersey. And he’s spoken to kids at offense-defense football camps throughout the summer.
During Thanksgiving, 2007, he did a food-drive with his former High School (Northside High in GA). He and his mother purchased groceries and partnered with the Northside High Football team to deliver them to needy families in their community.
He’s also a member of his local Chamber of Commerce and has plans to become even more active in his community.
Chansi participated with Rock and Wrap it Up! over the Thanksgiving Holidays at the Bowery Mission in New York City. Rock and Wrap It Up! is an independent anti-poverty think tank based in New York, and Chansi works with the organization to give to those in need.
